I booked a booth beforehand and let the staff know it was her birthday. We had to change the time of our reservation beforehand - easy process there. When we arrived the booth was set aside, and a birthday card sat on our table. Staff brought her a nice birthday dessert later on. We have been to Earl's at King West several times now.
