We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. We were staying at an airport hotel overnight and needed a good dinner. What we found was this spectacular jewel of a restaurant! Our party of 4 tried the crab cakes (DELICIOUS) the mushroom soup (hearty and hit the spot on this chilly evening) the Rock Fish special (YUM) the demonico steak (tender and perfectly prepared) the Elk Osso Bucco with paparadelli (unusual and tasty!) and the lamb shank (fall off the bone tender and perfectly seasoned). The chef visited our table to check on us (smiles all around) the waitstaff was attentive without being annoying. The classical music in the background was quiet and soothing and set the atmosphere for a perfect dinner out. We felt as if we were dining in the home of an experienced host. Incredibly rare to find this kind of intimacy and hospitality these days!

As always the food was great ,the service lacked which is not David’s norm. The manager came a met with us and was receptive to the issues of the evening. We will certainly return. Just was not what we expected.

What a find! Nice little quaint restaurant located in Elkridge. The service was great and friendly. The beer selection was on point for a German restaurant, and the food was delicious. My family had a really good time.
