Tired of the loosely French inspired humdrum of restaurants popping up across the city of London? Do you like holidays? Do you like cold drinks and warm service? If you've answered yes to one or more of these then perhaps Tollington's can refresh both your pallet and your mind. The idea came from a mirror in an antiques market and a love for a more informal approach to dining, the result is a chippy in North London with old church pews bolted to the walls to be leaned on and eaten from. The staff were so lovely and the manager was delightful. Unfortunately we couldn’t be seated for our booking for 15 mins as it is a very small restaurant but the manager was sure to give us an extra round of our drinks on the house (this was a bottle of wine and a g&t) so we really couldn’t complain! But throughout the wait he was super apologetic and made sure we were all treated with care. It’s my second time at that restaurant and I will be going back again. Highly recommend!
