- TThomasWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSuper Restaraunt. Very good atmosphere, friendly wait staff, very good price point. Reservations are highly recommended as this is a local go-to. There are four bars in the restaurant, one in each corner. So, while this is a white linen dining experience, you must not think of it as posh or fine dining given the tavern extraordinaire atmosphere. It obviously has the DC charm of “Cheers” sans Norm and Sam, with a kicked up level regarding the dining. Very tasty meal, great selection of cuisine. I highly recommend OEG.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8

After each delicate course, I was left wanting more which is ingenious because now I have to come back again. Darn. - LLindaWashington, D.C. Area •71 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoAs genuine Francophiles who go to France every year, La Piquette is our favorite French restaurant in the DC metro area. It’s the most authentic brasserie/bistro vibe and has the consistently good food you expect to find in Paris or any town in France. The service is so professional and friendly. The staff appreciates regular customers and we won’t ever stop going there. What to eat? It’s all good. My favorite appetizers are the pork rillettes, the artichoke, the pate, the sweetbreads, and the tomato tart. For entree’s, the steak frites, rabbit linguine, veal Milanese style, any of the fish dishes, especially when they have skate wing. The only drawback is the noise level. People just don’t know how to use their inside voices. Too bad for all of us other diners who are just trying to have a quiet conversation.More infoLa PiquettePrice: Expensive• French• Cleveland Park•4.8
