When we were dreaming dreams and drawing drawings of our brand new clubhouse, we wanted to create something that goes far beyond your typical golf course restaurant.The Grille was always intended, and indeed is, a place where family, friends, residents, neighbors and the entire Richmond community can come together and enjoy each other’s company. Amazing food is an essential part of the experience, but we keep it reasonably priced so that everyone can enjoy.Our seating setup is designed to create spaces for every occasion – from the private and intimate Reserve room for special dinners, as well as the high tops, traditional tables and 10 TVs scattered throughout.     I had the lamb chops with mint and it was absolutely succulent. Very flavorful, it was served sizzling with butter. I am lactose intolerant but I always keep my "Lactaid" tablets with me so I can eat a little butter and no problems! I also had the house salad and it was absolutely delicious with their balsamic dressing. We got the grilled shrimp and they are a good size and very tasty.

    Truly a dining experience, not just a meal. We were seated upstairs in the bar area, our server was very attentive from the time we arrived, around both bar and food service. Knowledgeable about the menu, particularly around pairings (protein with sauce/compound butter, à la carte sides, and wines). Classic with a twist steakhouse menu in a beautiful historic building. Definitely on the favorites list. ❤️

    Awhile back we stopped going to Red Lobster in Midlothian because the food and service were so poor. They never seemed to recover from 2020 challenges. Even the cheese biscuits were bad. We decided to try it again last night because they offered a free meal for veterans. Everything was very good. Our waitress was professional and friendly. The food was back to pre 2020 standards. The cheese biscuits were perfect. We will definitely be back.
