We had amazing Christmas dinner last night. Staff was very attentive and welcoming with the food choices abundant. Good quality of meats and the salad bar was well stocked with different options. Hostess team was very nice as well. Thanks to the entire staff for welcoming us on Christmas

Definitely one of the most memorable nights of our 8 days on the island. I was in complete awe and had no words of how amazing it was. We left with smiles and full bellies. Definitely recommend the almond crusted fish appetizer. I enjoyed the 10oz. lobster tail. The presentation was perfect. I sat and slowly chewed savoring each and every bite. The atmosphere could NOT have been better! Make reservations for sure, as they seat you in the back area which is quiet and quite romantic as we celebrated 30 years of marriage together🥰

The food is pretty good and you really can’t beat the view of the beach and sunset. Tried 2 appetizers: one hot and one cold. The Bruschetta was different as instead of using bread, they used polenta as the base but were good flavors. The octopus and burrata were good as well. The main courses were ok. Had the seared tuna, which was too thick cut, and the flavors were off. The red tail snapper was cooked to perfection and flavorful. The best parts were the drinks and the dessert. Had the banana old-fashioned drink (omg), the banana sundae drink, and the banana dessert. If you come for only these you will not be disappointed. Staff were great and they leave you be so that you can take in the views and enjoy your meal. So heads up if you want quick fast service thay hand you the bill the moment you get it dessert, this isn't your place.

In short We celebrated our 46th Wedding Anniversary with a dinner at Hyatt. And it was great! The waiters were very Friendly and helpful including the communication was 5 stars worth. Will surely repeat Especially for the complimentary anniversary Cake!!! Please consider put this cake on the Menu as dessert? PLEAZE?? :-) Hope to come back when Ruinas del Mar is open again... Excellent expert from start to finish. Lucia greeted us and was lovely. She was informative, welcoming and wanted us to be happy!!!! Good was great and plentiful. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Great evening!!
