- BBenLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst time here after knowing and hearing about Smiths for a long time. It was a business lunch and my client loves seafood so seemed appropriate. My guest said the halibut was very good and tasted unbelievably fresh. It’s also nice to see a meat/fish restaurant have a comprehensive veg/vegan menu and a bonus was the food was really good. The tempura cauliflower and goan curry were superb and I will 100% be coming back. It was really busy which meant a nice atmosphere and the staff were extremely attentive.More infoSmiths Restaurant OngarPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Ongar•4.8
- TTonyCambridge/Cambridgeshire •1 review4.0Dined 7 days agoVery good food and service in an excellent if, slightly, noisy venue. Only negative comments were that the light levels and font size made it difficult to read the menu's, although this in itself made it easier to accept the maitre D's recommendations and generated hilarity as we tried to illuminate with mobile phones. Fortunately my guests were Greeks from Crete so were perfectly used to sit side saddle on the chairs which could have been imported direct from there. They are not comfortable however rustic they may look, Maybe ok for well upholstered younger bums but a pain for us older olg gits whose glutus maximii have faded away.More infoProvenance KitchenPrice: Expensive• British• Hinxton•4.6

We love this place due to not only the food, but the ambience and the service is friendly.More infoFirepit Restaurant at The CavePrice: Very Expensive• Pan-Asian• Canterbury•4.7
- RRobertvipNorthern Ireland •6 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 20, 2024Quite simply, this is one of the best restaurants in the world. The food is incredible. Every course was absolutely delicious, the ambience of the dining room is unfussy and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and efficient. And Brett Graham, the chef, takes his time to come to every table, explaining the dishes and chatting to his customers all through the night. Incredible. Up there with Core and The Fat Duck as my favourite restaurants in London, and one of the best dining experiences of my life. Stunning. I’m already planning a return.More infoThe Ivy Cambridge BrasseriePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Cambridge•4.4
