It was an Amazing experience where food and staff on Christmas Day were priceless

Exceptional! Dined here on Christmas day and it did not disappoint. Everything was terrific, from our server, Jasmine, to the fantastic ambiance and the extraordinary food! The menu offered the holiday prix fixe experience with four courses. All courses were fantastic. My main entree was the Seared Diver Sea Scallops & Pacific Shrimp, which was delicious. My husband had the Moroccan-Spiced Hawaiian Snapper and Clams- another winner, and my son had the Prime Tenderloin. The preparation of the food is fresh, simple, and incredibly tasty. The experience was a splurge, but when in Hawaii for Christmas it’s worth it!

Wonderful meal for a larger group - there were 12 of us and the ‘group pre fix’ meal was a great hit with everyone. Served family style we enjoyed 4 different antipastos, 4 different salads, and 4 different pasta courses. As the staff said, no one left hungry! There was a nice variety in each course and plenty of food! We ended up 4 shared desserts. Everyone loved being able to taste so many different dishes and talk about our favorites. Very memorable and great fun for a large family meal. The location is nice - plenty of easy parking, and the staff were all so friendly and welcoming.

Sansei doesn’t disappoint. We have been coming here since it opened back in the 1990’s. This was our first time back since 2019. There’s an outdoor patio now which is a great addition. Megan was a fabulous server. Definitely make it a choice when in Kapalua or other places in Hawaii!

Taverna’s holiday menu was excellent! There were still so many choices and all five of us thoroughly enjoyed our 3-course meal selections. Our waiter was personable and attentive. The price point was very reasonable. Love the location. Taverna remains on our favorites list and we’ll definitely be back.
