Great menu full of lovely choices of fresh local fish as well as other meat dishes. Fish was cooked to perfection. It is on the expensive end, but great food.

What a Sunday roast feast! Delicious food and plenty of it. Very friendly service, a blazing wood fire and a lovely dining area. Could not have been better.

We loved the Sunday roast today. It was so tasty and good sized portions. We finished off with sticky toffee pudding and bread and butter pudding which were both delicious. The staff are tremendous, friendly and helpful and attentive and the feel of the restaurant is warm and modern. The car park has been finished and is well designed and we loved the new orangery. It’s lovely to be able to eat there.

The staff were an absolute delight—attentive, friendly, and passionate about their work. They were happy to make recommendations, explaining food combinations with detail and enthusiasm. Every interaction felt personal, adding an extra layer of warmth to my visit. The restaurant offered subtle touches of a French bistro, a cosy yet sophisticated charm. It's perfect for both intimate dinners and lively group get-togethers. It's not budget dining, but the quality of the food, impeccable service, and overall experience justify the cost. Portions are generous, and each dish feels crafted with care. Whether you're a fan of French cuisine or just looking for a memorable culinary experience, the French Quarter delivers on all fronts.
