The Ox Barn is considered a healthy restaurant due to its focus on using fresh, local, and organic ingredients. As one reviewer put it, the dishes are 'beautifully crafted and presented with indigenous and organic ingredients that are as much a delight to the eye as then on the palette.' Another noted that the menu is carefully curated, suitable for the month, rather than the season, suggesting a focus on seasonal and fresh produce. The restaurant also caters to dietary requirements, as evidenced by one reviewer who praised the chef's ability to provide adaptations not found on the menu.

Set in the picturesque village of West Hanney,This beautiful thatched pub offers great british pub classics, and small plates, with a vibrant pub atmosphere. This community owned business has new tenants who have been lucky to win a fair few awards in their time. The Plough is the ultimate country pub and offers an incredible atmosphere and dining experience. Housed in a stunningly thatched public house, customers can choose to eat in the beautiful eatery, in the cosy bar by the fire or in the beautiful sun trapped garden. With a passion for supporting farmers, the kitchen sources food from the very best local farms, knowing where each item comes from, from farm to plate. Owain even uses the produce from his family farm in Wales! The restaurant was busy on Saturday night in the lead-up to Christmas, but it was easy to find. A little noisy, which was fully expected. Despite her hectic schedule, our restaurant attendant Anastasia was attentive and considerate of my dairy intolerance. The starters and main courses were delicious; however, I thought the dessert selection was limited for those who avoid dairy. We would be happy to return, as we had a wonderful experience.

Second time eating at The Kara and it was as good as the first time. A warm welcome awaits when you arrive and it continues through your night. Cocktails are really good quality and reasonably priced and the food is incredible. Large portions which you can share and enjoy more authentic Mediterranean flavours. Service is quick and professional and the live singer and DJ later make it a fun place to be. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

The most beautiful restaurant especially in a window seat overlooking the river. The service is spot on- attentive but not at all intrusive eg when our water ran out it was quickly and quietly replaced before we’d even noticed. We were not hurried along and they didn’t rush to give us our bill. And the food is simply lovely; very attractively presented, very tasty and I just wish I could have eaten more. Can’t recommend enough

Great food - lovely flavours but crumble portion too big and my beef had a lot of tissue I had to cut out which was inedible. Apart from that I would definitely recommend.
