Best Historic Restaurants in Back Bay

The food was delicious as always. Best burgers in Boston. Our waiter Javi was fantastic!

We were seated in a tight corner. We had a party in front of us. Next to us was empty. A few minutes later the hostess seated a party of 4 next to us. There were plenty of other open tables. The party was very lively and bit loud--to which they are entitled. However we could no longer hear each as we were somewhat wedged between two parties now. Additionally, the way the table was situated even our server had a hard time getting to our table. So we asked our server Stefan if we could move. He was very amenable and immediately moved us. Later, Esther, a supervisor came by and we told her what happened. She too was helpful. So, in the end all was very good. It was surprising why the hostess seated all of us as she did. Neither Stefan nor Esther made us feel uncomfortable with our ask to move, that was very appreciated. Food was excellent, enjoyable evening.

When you arrive you are greeted by the hostess and almost immediately seated. We were quickly greeted by by PETER P. Peter was absolutely amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and he really made sure we would enjoy our experience. Peter gave amazing recommendations on both beverages and meals. Only complaint would be that my steak was cooked wrong but without hesitation, Peter came over and had them remake it. The manager came out and apologized and asked if the new steak was cooked to my liking. At the end, Peter brought out a mini cake and shared lots of stories with us. Overall, service was spectacular !! constantly checking in on us and having small talk. My significant other and I are definitely looking forward to having lunch again and I will definitely be asking for Peter !!

My friend came to Boston to visit with me and to have brunch. She especially asked to go to the Lenox. We had a lovely brunch. We were warmly received on walking into the restaurant and there was no problem in changing our table because of a draft at the exit door. Our waiter was very acommodating, the food was very good and we were able to visit together for a while past the eating of the food. All together it was a lovely brunch and we will be back again.
