- JJeremyNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoReally cool place to grab a drink or have dinner. Good NA selection, as well. Friendly service and really cozy vibes. Food prices and quality are on par with pubs - maybe a bit more expensive. I’d say it’s worth it for the atmosphere.More infoFraunces TavernPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Financial District•4.6

- BBonnieVIPNew York City •38 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 21, 2024The chips and salsa were TOO good. The margaritas were nice, some very interesting. I lived in Oaxaca for two summers and was looking forward to authentic chicken mole. I was somewhat disappointed: the flavor was excellent but, unlike in Oaxaca, the chicken was cooked separately and the sauce added when the dish was served. The chicken was overcooked and did not have an infusion of mole flavor. My dinner companions enjoyed their enchiladas and tacos. I tasted and did not find them to be as good as in Mexico. We ordered flan and tres leches. Both were too sweet for my taste. The flan was coffee flavored and was missing the slightly bitter bite of caramelized sugar.More infoRuta Oaxaca - BrooklynPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Cobble Hill•4.7
