Best Historic Restaurants in Buckhead

We had a lunch with a party of 8. The service was flawless- helpful, quick, efficient, but not hovering. Our orders arrived in about 10 min, and everything was as ordered. The food was very good, and the portions were filling. The view from Canoe is wonderful- overlooking some gardens on the bank of the Chattahoochee. Canoe has never disappointed me, and this meal didn't either.

Our waitress Tiara, was so hospitable and just a joy to have host our night!!! Love her energy and table side manner!!!

We LOVED our experience this past weekend. From the host to the server (Jazz, I think his name was) to the food and the drinks, this entire dining experience was beyond 5 stars. My husband and I have had such a hard time finding a place to have a nice meal recently and I cannot gush enough about how tender the Veal was, how attentive but not clingy Jazz was, and how the hostess cared so much about making our night special. We cannot wait to return.

Our dinner at Marcel was the best dinner experience I’ve had in 40+ years. The food was excellent but what took it over the top was how hospitable the staff was. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. It was like a family member who wanted to share their food with you. We weren’t rushed and enjoyed just sitting and chatting with ourselves and the staff. They treated everyone like a VIP. I encourage everyone to try Marcel and I’ll gladly recommend it and come back.

9 Mile Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The menu is a delightful blend of creative dishes, each bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. I particularly loved the charred chicken leg which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Every bite felt like a symphony of taste! The service was equally outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest has a great experience. Whether you’re looking for a cozy dinner spot, a place to celebrate a special occasion, or just incredible food, 9 Mile Restaurant is a must-visit.
