The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. As always a fabulous experience and such a kind hostess who came out on the street to guide us all in with my elder aunt who walks with a cane and has mobility issues he made sure we did not miss a step on the way in.
