We make British food with a classic or modern slant. We source our ingredients from the local fields, woodlands and waters. Everything is cooked on the premises, including the sourdough bread and the icecreams. The Good Food Guide (2023) says: "A fittingly quaint old building, complete with original features, given a suave modern twist via grey panelling and contemporary furniture. Chef-proprietor Martin Peacock has built his menu on classical French traditions and impeccable sourcing and there’s real creativity and originality on show here. The international wine list offers a decent but not overlong selection, with accessible pricing.Vegetarian: we will always offer at least one starter and one main vegetarian choice. However, we cannot cater for vegans.***Please note, due to customer allergies, we cannot allow dogs on the premises.

La Delizia has become one of our favourite restaurants in Hastings. It is such an enjoyable experience. The food is excellent and everything is cooked from fresh. The service is friendly and efficient and the waiting staff are all very knowledgeable. The pasta dishes are so, so good as is the risotto and gnocci. I would definitely recommend the Baked Salmon, Prawn, Leek, Tomato & Sherry Sauce which is absolutely delicious. The wine list offers a small but perfectly adequate selection of mainly Italian wines and the Montepulciano is excellent. Well done La Delizia. You've totally got it right.

They are currently in the Cake Room in Hastings in the evenings. Venue was warm, Welcoming and comfortable. Food was magnificent, as always. Fried chicken was crispy, tasty and just the right amount of spice. Beef curry is the star of the show for me. Earthy, rich depth of flavour. 10/10. Lots of vegetarian options too. Service is wonderful, great knowledge of the dishes available and we always receive a warm welcome. I honestly can’t recommend it enough.
