Head chef Tommaso Bartoli whips up a creative menu that heavily draws on his Tuscan roots. Starting his career in the kitchens of Florence, he brings to Australia all the knowledge and passion for food that define with his personal style. All our pasta is handmade in-house in the traditional ‘fatta a mano’ style. We had a delicious meal at Kirbie’s. The Japanese Scallops were full of flavours and we soaked up the gorgeous juices with the house flatbread. Also had Octopus with Nduja sauce and apple salsa, Mozzarella with heirloom tomatoes and fried sage, Fish with agrodolce, fried capers and lemon - all first class.

We loved our high tea at Alluvial. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff were friendly and attentive and could not have been more helpful. We would love to experience Alluvial's high tea again!

This has to be one of the best kept secretes of Melbourne. After 6.5 years in Melbourne, 3 days before we return to London, it was one of our last stops. We will miss you Luca.
