Located in historic Blagden Alley in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood since 2015, The Dabney continues to pay tribute to the wonderful farmers, watermen, and purveyors of the mid-Atlantic region whom provide some of the best and most unique products in the country. We celebrate these ingredients by preparing them in a large wood burning hearth which is the centerpiece of our open kitchen. We didn’t know what to expect from Petite Cerise, it was our first time. Dinner was delicious, service was excellent and to be honest I can’t think of a negative thing to say. Prix Fixe menu is the best way to taste different options from the menu and don’t forget to try the Parisian Gnocchi, fantastic!

Came here for Christmas Day buffet and all of the staff were in great moods and very helpful… despite working the holiday. We really appreciated having this option so that we didn’t have to think about cooking dinner and could just spend time together as a family. Thank you so much for a great meal!

This was a great experience. From the time we walked in until we left the staff were considerably, attentive, and extremely nice. The energy is inviting. The open kitchen was a nice addition to the experience filling the room with warmth. The menu was clearly designed with deep thought and intention. Would highly recommended.

The hotel has moved their popular afternoon tea service out of the lobby parlor and into the hotel restaurant due to its popularity. It is a full tea with lots of options. Graciously served. The only drawback is if you have the need for the toilet, it is downstairs from the lobby. Be sure to make a reservation as walk-ins can be accommodated if there is space.
