- JJade-GraceNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWent to Blackfriars for a wine an and tapas tasting night.m, it was absolutely delicious. The guide talking us through all of the different wine and why they were paired with the food was excellent and very well informed, so well educated on wine and could answer every question. Plus all of the food that we had was delicious, well made and beautifully presented.More infoBlackfriars RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6
- LLisaNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Courtyard deserves all of the superlatives. We originally chose to eat here for a special occasion, but the overall experience convinced us to make it a regular stop. The service is excellent. The menu is inventive and the food is delicious. The look of the restaurant draws one in, and the noise level is surprisingly low, considering the number of people that were dining. We are already planning to come back next week for another meal!More infoThe Courtyard PegswoodPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Morpeth•4.8

- HHeleneNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoGreeted and taken to our table upstairs. The restaurant even at 12:50 was very busy. Lovely cozy clean vibe busy with staff who were very attentive. We were shortly over to a better table by the window which was also a little larger. I had a voucher for my birthday. Don’t know how they knew, but they gave me a glass of champers which was so kind. We both went for the Sunday roasts, both cooked beautifully but unfortunately were on the tepid side (we like our gravy steaming) so it chilled the food a little. I also had a pear and almond pudding with extra hot (I asked) custard, Devine. We would definitely recommend this Bistro, prices were moderate also. Cant fault the service. Looking forward to going back.More infoThe Broad CharePrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
