Best Historic Restaurants in Salem

Another top notch visit to Moe’s. Our server, Kate was perfect. We remembered her from a previous visit also. The special old fashioned was strong and just right to warm us up on a cold night. We started with lobster bisque. I really need this recipe! The cream base has a hint of sherry and is delicious. Warm bread and butter. A new chocolate butter, who knew! Excellent also. My husband had the 8oz filet Oscar style. I have the 4oz wagyu filet, perfect size for me. Both were cooked medium to perfection. We shared the truffle mashed potatoes, delicious. We brought our own wine and then shared the chocolate cake for dessert. One of the best meals out we’ve ever had.

Great place to eat. I've only been to lunch----three times. One of those menu's where there's something for everyone. Salads, burgers, wood fired pizza etc. Prices are in the $18-22.00 range at lunch. As the restaurant is in the Journeyman Hotel they are open every day (but I'd check to be sure). I'll be back

Delightful and memorable - each bite elicited surprise, yummy sounds and attempts to deconstruct technique and ingredients. Well worth the splurge.

Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. Food was amazing. The seafood we ordered was fresh and every plate was delicious. Will definitely go back. Service was awesome and it was great date night dinner

Everything about the Edison was wonderful! The salad with Ahi tuna and wine were delicious and ambience and service were wonderful! I’ll definitely be back!
