Best Historic Restaurants in Greater Northdale

We came here to watch the sunset. I appreciated the reasonable prices on bottles of wine. We got an appetizer and desert. The food was very good and we enjoyed the views and ambiance.

Beautiful restaurant with an interesting history. Excellent menu and the food was fantastic! Had the 1/2 salad and cup of soup lunch. Choose the black bean soup served over rice. Delicious! After we ate we asked about the restaurant history and the assistant manager gave us a wonderful tour. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Charley's is our go-to for business and special occasions. Combine superlative plates with flawless service and you have the best steak house I know of (and I know of many). I have never sat with anyone who was not 100%+ satisfied with their steaks, salads, and sides.

I have been to Barterhouse twice and both times the food was very good. The hush puppies are my favorite small plate, the catch of the day was sea bass and that was delicious with the butternut squash mixture. We’ve also had the short rib and ravioli (which was just okay), but the carrots on the side were amazing.

Pleasant atmosphere and service. We ordered ravioli and parrilla beef grill. The serving size said for two on the menu, but we found it will serve four. It comes on its own little serving grill and it was delicious. One cut had a lot more fat than I prefer, but the ribs and the skirt steak were excellent. Not a pretentious place, but it is cozy and quiet and we enjoyed our New Year’s Day celebration there. I’d definitely come back. There is more on the menu for me to try. The ravioli was amazing and the empanadas were presented with a dough braid and egg wash with a yummy beef filling. The details made the difference. Quality and affordable Venezuelan kitchen. I’m very pleased!
