- JJohnSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything about The Depot was wonderful!! We were seated immediately for our 5:30 reservation, and our server was very attentive from the beginning. From our drink order through the appetizer and finally the main courses, our server was very attentive and personable. The timing of courses couldn’t have been better, we were able to visit amongst ourselves and the items presentation was seamless and quick. The quality of the appetizer (calamari) and entrees was excellent! I can’t say enough good things about our experience at The Depot in Sonoma! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! 5 Stars!!More infoThe Depot RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Sonoma•4.6
- DDanielleVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •20 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe Mill had exceptional service and food. The bread with butter was insanely delicious - even better than at Glen Ellen Star. We also loved the Brussel sprouts with bacon. We will definitely return when next in town!More infoThe Mill at Glen EllenPrice: Expensive• American• Glen Ellen•4.8
- LLisaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •60 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 23, 2024Lunch after a matinee is one of our Holiday traditions- this year it was just perfect. The restaurant was packed with diners waiting for tables lined up at the bar, so thank goodness we had a reservation (on a Monday at 3:00PM- who knew?). Once past that minor inconvenience, everything was absolutely wonderful. We shared the Tortelloni appetizer and even though I am an accomplished Italian home cook, it was the best we have ever had. Then we shared the Jack LaLane salad - partly because we grew up with him on TV and the nostalgia was undeniable- and it was perfect. It had a respectable amount of seafood and avocado and was very large. My husband said his Manhatten was excellent. We left vowing to come back soon and often.More infoHistoric John's GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Union Square•4.7

They now include a 20% scholarship tip on the whole bill. I believe it should be the option to pay or not or tip less since it is for a scholarship fund and not for the servers.
