- KKarenPhiladelphia County •8 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur party of 4 sat at a high-top table in the bar area. Dan Ward was playing fun music at a great level (we were still able to have a conversation while enjoying the music). There are tables in an area separate from the bar that would provide a quieter experience - with a cozy fireplace! Katie, our waitress was wonderful! Our drinks were good - cosmos and espresso martinis (yummy!). The food was outstanding! We had the wings, brussell sprouts and french onion soup as appetizers and all were some of the best we've had anywhere. Each of us enjoyed our entree - steakhouse burger (cooked perfectly to my liking), fish and chips, po boy sandwich, and short rib tacos. And we all left with leftovers! We look forward to returning. I recommend reservations to ensure seating.More infoThe Water Wheel TavernPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Doylestown•4.6

- JJoannePhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024We had a wonderful experience. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The hostess was very friendly and wished my husband a happy birthday. Our server, Justin greeted us shortly after we were seated and took our drink order. The drinks arrived quickly and were perfect. The food we ordered was delicious and arrived hot and in a short amount of time. Our server was very attentive and checked on us multiple times throughout the evening. We never felt rushed.More infoJoseph Ambler InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• North Wales•4.7
- DDavidPhiladelphia County •8 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 28, 2024Our go-to restaurant when we have friends and family visiting. The service is always excellent, the menu expansive enough for everyone to find something they like, and the choice between the more energetic historic section of the tavern or the quieter greenhouse area is really appreciated. Some menu favorites of ours... the pork schnitzel with mustard sauced potatoes, the bacon wrapped shrimp and calamari appetizers, and definitely the homemade rice pudding. A gem of a restaurant in an unlikely location that's worth the trip.More infoThe Pineville TavernPrice: Moderate• American• New Hope•4.2
- HHHHIGuyVIPSouth Carolina •75 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024Bucks County needs a venue like Frost. Site is tiny which is great except when you are seated near loud, obnoxious guests. Prices are high, yes. But most reviews fail to understand that there is no cover or music charge. Cocktails are crafted perfectly. The tapas were outstanding, the main entree just ok. They recognized my wife's birthday which spoke volumes because it means they read the notes left for the restaurant which are usually overlooked. Nice work. Well worth a visit.
