- VVictorTampa / Central Florida West •3 reviews5.0Dined todayOverall the experience was enjoyable. The service from the head waiter and assistant waiter was top tier. The young lady running food was seemingly having a grumpy evening. The food was delicious. The shrimp cold appetizer and red snapper entree were well prepared and the presentation was perfect. The black and blue gnocchi was good but over shadowed by the cold shrimp appetizer. The triple tail was heavily seasoned borderline salty and was an odd pairing of textures and flavors with the oysters but all the individual parts were well prepared and the seasoning could be diluted using the warm coconut soup. Dessert was ok. Life is about experiences, this was one we’re glad we could enjoy. Not perfect in its entirety but a solid 4.7/5More infoRestaurant AugustPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Central Business District•4.9
- TTonyFresno / San Joaquin Valley •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is our second year celebrating the holidays with the good people of Jack Rose. In all our travels so far in retirement, the staff, the food, the absolute vibe of Jack Rose is worth every minute of travel time it takes to get from central California to New Orleans. We were fortunate enough to experience the Christmas menu in 2023 and it far exceeded our expectations. This year we had the pleasure of another perfectly prepared filet and the most delicious sides. Our bread pudding for dessert was perfection on a plate. Our new tradition will be returning to Jack Rose again next Christmas, but we will be thinking of everyone and everything Jack Rose until then.More infoJack Rose - New OrleansPrice: Moderate• Creole• Lower Garden District•4.8
- GGregNew Orleans / Louisiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was the most perfect meal. We went in with a party of 5 for Christmas dinner and did the chefs selections, that was the best choice ever. From the tuna with the fried rice cubes to the wagyu steak. Best meal I have had in a while. Definitely coming backMore infoNobu - Caesars New OrleansPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Central Business District•4.6
- JJeffNew Orleans / Louisiana •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs always Antoine's was excellent. Antoine's is the #1 fine dining experience available anywhere in New Orleans, and it has never disappointed. My wife and I have been coming here for 27 years and have enjoyed each visit. The staff was professional, courteous, and easy to summon if we had a request for something. They have a pride in their establishment that comes across in their dealings with customers. Very few restaurants, even in New Orleans, can say that any longer. Russell and Roland were both consummate professionals and took exceptionally good care of us. And it was great to see Charles Carter again. Charles waited on us on our first visit 27 years ago and many times since, and has always made sure we're taken care of. The Reveillon menu dishes were prepared perfectly and were delicious as always. I was pleasantly surprised to see a NY Strip as a choice for the main course and both my wife and I received our steaks cooked perfectly. We even had a special request for dessert and it was handled with no problems. If you're coming to New Orleans, Antoine's is a must. How many restaurants can say they have been in business with the same family since 1840? I hope to still be around to enjoy a visit in their 200th anniversary year in 2040.More infoAntoine'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.6
- AAvoyNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined 4 days ago- shrimp and grits very well seasoned - duck confit good balance of sweet savory - ambiance lovely, but I read somewhere there was jazz during lunch and it seemed very muted, but maybe that’s just me - service was exceptional! our server Chris kept checking in on us and went above and beyond.More infoAtchafalaya RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Garden District•4.9
