- EElizabethIndiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe ate at Harry & Izzy’s Downtown while we’re were visiting Indianapolis for a business conference. We made lunch reservations and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The restaurant is beautiful. It’s a very old building and has tall ceilings and lots of wood and windows. We chose a lunch special where you get their signature shrimp cocktail, two sliders (you choose between filet mignon, fried chicken or shrimp) you also got a choice of soup or salad and fries or chips. We got the filet mignon slider, Caesar salad and house chips. The shrimp cocktail was really good. The shrimp were large fresh and firm and the cocktail sauce which is made from fresh horseradish was surprisingly tasty. The filet mignon sliders were amazing. The steak was tender and filled with flavor. The house chips and salad were both fresh and perfect. Our server was prompt, friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my lunch so much that I wanted to immediately make another reservation so I could come back and repeat the entire experience. Definitely will go back before we leave.More infoHarry & Izzy's - DowntownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Downtown Indy•4.7

The drinks were great and I loved the steak and dessert. Popovers were good as well. Nothing was bad. Service was great. we went to Mel’s downstairs after and that place is the bomb. - GGinaVIPIndiana •63 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI have been to Salt numerous times, but this was my husband's first time eating here. He really liked it. We started out with the Skillet Bread & Crab Rangoons. Both were delicious. The skillet bread comes with this honey butter which is so tasty. And the crab rangoons were filled with so much real crab meat. Just awesome. For his entrée, he got the Pan Seared Diver Scallops w/ mashed potatoes. He decided to try two different sauces. The Lemon Butter & Chili Sauce. The lemon butter definitely fit better with the scallops. I ordered Miso Sable Fish w/ Mashed Sweet Potatoes. And I got my fish with the caramel soy sauce. The fish was so buttery and light. Fit so well with my sauce selection. I wish my mashed sweet potatoes came with some cinnamon butter or brown sugar. Felt like they were missing something. For dessert we got the Crème Brulee. It was so delicious!!! We will definitely be back.More infoSalt on MassPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Downtown Indy•4.8
