Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Gravesend

I recently dined solo at Blacklock Canary Wharf, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I started with a delicious mocktail ,followed by a perfectly cooked fillet, tender and juicy at medium doneness. The sweet potatoes and beets with goats cured were absolutely outstanding. To finish, the bread and butter pudding with custard was the perfect indulgence. An all-around amazing meal with exceptional service.

We were greeted by the waiter as soon as we arrived and ushered to our seat. The venue decor was amazing. The staff were very attentive. The food was fresh and tasty and also was served very quickly. This is what I call 5 star service. I will gladly come back again.

The porterhouse was cooked to absolute perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The side dishes complemented the steak beautifully, each one thoughtfully prepared with attention to detail. The desserts were a highlight as well, particularly the indulgent chocolate plate that arrived with a candle, a lovely touch to make the evening even more memorable. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make the celebration feel truly special, showing genuine care and attention to every detail. Hawksmoor Wood Wharf really knows how to deliver a top-notch dining experience, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a welcoming, professional setting.

The Thai Curry was delicious I ate everything on my plate. Rice was too small a portion though. I was disappointed that the restaurant did not have Prawn with was on the menu, instead I had to settle for squid in my sauce. Also the menu is too small for such establishment. I thought they would have a wide range of different foods available. Overall it was ok. My server Renee if that her name was outstanding. I will go again this time to experience the Lounge.
