Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Edmonton

Food overall was good. The Welsh rarebit for starters was good as was the roast for mains, although it could have more gravy, which wasn’t a problem when we asked for more. Service and attention to detail could be better. They forgot two of our starters which they apologised and deducted our starters from the bill. Water carafe and wine was neglected, which should be automatically topped up. Plus I asked for the heating to be turned on otherwise we would’ve kept our coats on. If they can refine those small details, then it would deserve 5 stars.

Delicious food and well thought out flavours - really impressed with the interesting dishes & pairings. You really can tell the quality of the ingredients. Lovely staff & relaxed, stripped back atmosphere. A real treat!

Like most people I had to have the lasagne my only criticism would be was that it wasn’t piping hot but taste was amazing.

Great food, great service. I’ve been in plimsoll before because their burger. I couldn’t come back with some friends to let them try it too. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! Thank you guys!

I thought the food was amazing. We made a couple of requests like a birthday dessert and a window seat which were met. We had a young girl serve our table and she was awesome. Over all great birthday dinner for Dad :-)
