Exceptional greeting on entering the restaurant with a very warm and welcoming reception. Delighted with the location on level 1 on the window overlooking the streetscape. Excellent array of dishes.Only criticism was the coral trout sauce(ginger and shallot)was too salty. We dined on the following.Special thanks to the kitchen/chef for permitting the dry noodles special order!!! Buns Salt and pepper calamari Peking duck Coral trout Special order(dry/crispy noodles with ginger and shallot sauce All in all delighted to dine and will return for my fourth visit very very soon. Always great ambience, friendly staff and the food never ever lets you down. Had a wonderful stormy evening enjoying Kingfish Ceviche, Duck Liver Pate followed by a 300 gram medium rare Bavette Steak and a Cauliflower Steak with a raft of delicious sides and a bottle of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris! Kids loved their pasta and fish n chips.

Comp glass of bubbles pedros/dons lager, Being Xmas lunch this was a set menu.$79 We only added guacamole and the rest was locked in, Prawn tostadas-moreish. Barrmundi Cevice- very good Chicken wings with chipotle mayo-good Baja fish tacos-v.g. Shoestring fries with chipotle-mayo- good fries! Charred corn with mix mex cheese-v.good. Churros & dulce de leche- small, rubbery, forgettable, Mexican affogato v. Good. With all the margaritas we had with had This came to about $1000 for 6 pax. Would have been a lot cheaper if we’d stuck to beer &wine, but heh, it’s Christmas. Really great service from the crew too, They got a good tip! A great lunch was had by all.

Celebrating our sister’s 60th birthday with family and friends at Margaret was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make the day special. The food was incredible - and a lot of it! And the service was friendly and flawless. It was a perfect way to mark this milestone birthday. I cannot recommend Margaret enough for any special occasion. Thank you to all at Margaret for making this day extraordinary!
