Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Anchorage

We celebrated our anniversary here while visiting Louisville. The atmosphere was romantic and quiet. They had live music and all the staff were wonderful and very welcoming. The food was excellent! We will definitely visit again when we are back in town. Thank you to the staff at Volare for a wonderful anniversary dinner and experience ❤️

Riverhouse has amazing customer service! I was so disappointed that I had missed the lobster thermidor special last night and they told me to come tonight and they would make it. They did and it was AMAZING! The cheese appetizer and my husbands ribeye were great as well. The drinks and dessert were the perfect additions. The service was very nice and the river with snow was a beautiful site. We really enjoyed our impromptu date night!

I celebrated my 60th birthday at Jeff Ruby's in Louisville, KY , and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! Every aspect of the evening was exceptional, beginning with the warm and elegant ambiance that set the tone for a truly special celebration. The meal itself was nothing short of perfection. Each dish, from the salad to dessert, was crafted with impeccable attention to detail. My steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the sides were equally outstanding—every bite felt like a celebration in its own right. The dessert, which capped off the evening, was a masterpiece, both in taste and presentation. A huge shoutout to our server, Darrell, who was the epitome of professionalism and charm. His suggestions were spot on and added so much to our dining experience. From wine pairings to menu recommendations, he guided us with confidence and enthusiasm, ensuring that every choice we made was a winner. His warmth and attentiveness made us feel truly valued, turning an already great evening into something extraordinary.

We had a cocktail and then decided to eat in the bar area. The bartenders were friendly and informative. Our server/bartender, was Sapporo (sp?). She was great, and there when we needed her. We ordered the tuna won tons and lobster bisque to start. Both were delicious! I had the crab stuffed halibut and my wife had the torchio pasta. Both were tasty, and large portions. We received a nice size pour for the wines we ordered. The room had a nice buzz on a cold evening. Will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Le Moo. Jennifer was our server and she was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. We had the lettuce wedge, ribeye (prime)-cooked to perfection, with the fried potato cakes. The food was exceptional and the turnaround time was very quick. We frequently dined at this establishment when it was the old K.T.'s, so it brought back many memories. They made awesome updates, but kept the wonderful nostalgic ambiance. I highly recommend dining at Le Moo.
