- WWendivipNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWonderful dining experience. The food is excellent and it's obvious they have a passion to serve delicious food and want to see their customers leave happy. The menu is unique and not generic like most other restaurants in the area. I highly recommend dining here. You will not be disappointed. I've been coming out to Watermill for over 30 years and this restaurant is by far one of my favorites.More infoBistro EtePrice: Very Expensive• French• Southampton•4.9
- OTOpenTable DinerNew York State •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoWonderful food, attentive service, but very noisy. Cries out for a carpet or any sound abatement that might allow conversation at a table for 2 to4. Miss the old original Gurney’s corny Italian rococo decor that was a relief from the now ubiquitous “ zen”running to “ Amish “ look of un inviting plain colorless Uber simple gray fixtures. Looks as if it was decorated by Monks who have taken a vow of poverty. Art work is all black, gray and during late fall no view of gorgeous ocean after early sunset. No music either but the noise would drown it out anyway. Very pricey for teensy portions.More infoScarpetta BeachPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Montauk•4.4
- EEmiliaConnecticut •25 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis was our second time having Thanksgiving dinner at The Wharf. And just like last year, it didn't disappointed. Although it took about 20 minutes before we were seated, the wait was worth it. For starters I was really looking for a nice warm fall-type drink, and not seeing one on the menu, the waitress suggested a warm cider with rum concuction. With an added cinnamon stick, it just hit the spot! From the freshest seafood appetizers, salads and appetizers, all of which I sampled, met high standards. The butternut squash soup: delicious! I skipped the turkey this year and went for the prime rib (or is it roast beef), which was succulant, very flavorfull and cooked to perfection. Loved the stuffing and mashed potatoes. The dessert table is another whole treat. Set up in a seperate room, with all the selections about bite-sized, I choose a tiny lemon eclaire (yum!), a little chocolate mousse in it's own chocolate shell, and a pink macaroon. All just the right amount so that one can sample without feeling overstuffed. The staff was courtuous, efficient and always helpful. Thank you all for making it once again into a memorable holiday!More infoThe Wharf-Madison Beach HotelPrice: Expensive• undefined• Madison•4.6
