Super lovely, energetic, and the interior was gorgeous. We started off with the crispy brussels sprouts, which were so delicious that we put in another order. The truffle salmon was one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten — it melted in my mouth and they did not skimp on the truffle. The dynamite hand rolls were out of this world, warm and flavorful. The spicy tuna crispy rice had the perfect crunch. Side note: if you like sweet cocktails, get the usagi — the passionfruit notes shined through in this dessert of a drink. The chilled house sake we got was also divine. The rolls were fresh — we ordered the caterpillar roll, the spicy yellowtail roll, rainbow roll, and snow crab maki. My favorites were the snow crab maki and the rainbow roll. We ordered miso seabass and wagyu fried rice for the mains — the miso seabass melted in my mouth, and I loved the mix of citrus and sweet flavors that came through in this dish. When we got to the wagyu fried rice, I was already stuffed, but it was delicious with the egg mixed in. We finished the meal off with the toban yaki, one of the most unique desserts I’ve ever had. It was a cross between a crumble and a sorbet dessert — the flavors were incredible. The service was amazing and we loved our server Helena. 10/10 experience at Makoto and can’t wait to come back!More infoMakoto - Bal HarbourPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Bal Harbour•4.8

- MMindyMontreal / Quebec •8 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoWait was too long despite having reservations. Which wee were told were not really reservations more like managing how many people. We unfortunately watched as a large group « cut the line » with a payola. Very wrong on an evening when so few Resto were open and people had legitimate reservations. At least the food was good when the chef finally arrived at our table which was well over an hour after we sat.More infoBenihana - Miami Beach, FLPrice: Moderate• Japanese• North Bay Village•4.3
- FFayToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoThe mansion does not fail! It was beautiful like always! Great food and the staff (servers) were very very sweet. Especially our one server. The girls at the front can look a bit unfriendly, to the point that makes you a bit unwelcome but overall it was a beautiful Christmas Day at the Versace mansion. Maybe a little renovation on the chairs would be good too. It is price friendly (kinda) so in my opinion, the furniture should reflect the “luxury” look. At least a good cleanup. The food was really good, we had the spaghetti with lobster.. the burrata was amazing.. drinks pretty good.. no complaints at all! Thank you for making our Christmas 2025 beautiful all the way from Canada!More infoGianni's at the Former Versace MansionPrice: Expensive• Italian• South Beach•4.5
