It’s a haven for Instagram enthusiasts. The drive leading up to the property is unpaved for the last quarter mile, but it’s not a big deal—just something to keep in mind if it’s your first visit. Once you arrive, take some time to tour the property. Arriving early is worth it to soak in the stunning scenery before your meal. We started with a cocktail at the bar, which was fantastic. The mixologists here are truly talented, so if you drink, you’re in for a treat. For appetizers, we ordered the wagyu tacos. They’re street-style in size and absolutely delicious. For the main course, I had the octopus, and my wife opted for the rigatoni bolognese—both dishes were delicious and fulfilling. We shared a bottle of wine and indulged in the espresso martini cart experience. If you’re a fan of carajillos or espresso martinis, I highly recommend it. You can even customize the liquor to your preference. Altogether, we spent under $300, which felt reasonable given the quality and experience. We’ll definitely be back in the future.More infoAcre Restaurant & Cocktail BarPrice: Very Expensive• Global, International• San José del Cabo•4.8

- AALISSANew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis evening I dined at Tamarindos. I had a reservation for a party of one (which other similar local restaurants would not book or accommodate). I arrived a smidge early and meandered the grounds, something I highly encourage folks to do. It's a lovely oasis of quiet. I ordered two different mezcalitas, both were delicious in their own unique ways. For a starter plate the coconut ceviche was outstanding! A really nicely balanced plate with great flavor and the homemade tortillas were delicious. The mixed greens salad was a very generous portion of incredibly fresh greens, but was just a smidge too acidic in the dressing for me. The roasted hen was a lovely main entree with beautiful presentation, and nice flavors. It was colorful and tasty! For dessert a coffee and passion fruit sorbet offered the perfect end notes. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering or feeling rushed. Something I value immensely; especially as a person dining solo. The ambience of the entire restaurant and farm is welcoming and unpretentious, with an air of gracious, humble elegance. Tamarindos also delivers very good food. What truly made the evening more memorable was the people. Some things you don't taste, or see---you simply feel intuitively. It feels very much like everyone believes in, works hard, and acknowledges the goals of what they are trying to create, from food to service to atmosphere. Tamarindos did all that at a reasonable price point. Highly recommend this gem in San Jose de Cabo!More infoLos TamarindosPrice: Very Expensive• Mexican• San José del Cabo•4.7
