Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Harbor Springs

We wanted to enjoy our special dinner on New Year's day at one of the BEST restaurants in Traverse City on Mission Peninsula and was NOT disappointed. Was able to take in the whole atmosphere & waters view that felt comfortable & relaxing while enjoying our dinner. My husband really loved the salad & his Filet, cooked just right & it melted in his mouth. Another thing he was surprised when he order a 7 & 7 it really, really had great color not pale, like most other restaurants with drinks he has had & quality of the whiskey was superb as you would expect for an above & beyond quality restaurant. My lobster cooked perfectly, very flavorful & tender. Excellent Kahulua and cream & a scrumptious Crème Brule. All and all wonderful experience. We were delighted to enjoy our special New Year's Day dinner at a wonderful restaurant on the Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere and water view were comfortable and relaxing, enhancing our dining experience. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his perfectly cooked filet mignon, which melted in his mouth, and he was pleasantly surprised by the rich color and superior quality of his 7 & 7, a marked improvement over similar drinks he's had elsewhere. My lobster was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and tender. The Kahulua and cream and the crème brûlée were also scrumptious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

We love the Inn and dine here each time we stay at the beautiful Hotel Walloon which is often. We had whitefish this time and it was wonderful. Great wines and Ryan, our server was stellar! We really enjoyed talking to him about fish. All in all a very enjoyable, romantic dinner!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on Christmas Eve. The staff were festive and helpful throughout, and the food was terrific. Thank you to all that served us! We appreciate that the restaurant was open for us.

Weathervane and all of the Stafford’s restaurants are some of the best in Northern Michigan. Weathervane is always part of our Christmas season, with family, friends and guests in town. We also return often throughout the summer season when everyone comes to town.

Birthday dinner week of Christmas, very few patrons and the food and service were amazing. We had steak Diane and my husband raved about it and I had the salmon that was delicious and cooked perfectly! Service was on point!
