Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Highland Heights

Consistently an enjoyable experience. My husband, friends, and I come here often enough and have always had a great experience. Tonight two out of four of us ordered veggie burgers because they are the best in town. Colleen, our server, was warm and professional. That is one of the hallmarks of this restaurant; it seems they hire experienced servers who get along with each other. 

Reservations were for a high top table. On arrival, hostess seated us at a high top table. We had a wonderful waitress, who provided great service, and we enjoyed great food. We are regular, returning customers who enjoy Piccolo’s food and service.

Professional restauranters are running this restaurant. This is old school service. Front end staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Managers are attentive. Bartender is a pro. Our apps (we had 4 I'm embarrassed to admit) were excellent. The crab app and the mushroom gnocchi app (available in bar) were outstanding. My entre (grouper) was very salty but I will give that a pass because everything else was excellent. If you are seeking an old school fine dining experience with knowledgeable and personable wait staff in Cleveland, it is basically down to Johnny's on Fulton and Blue Point. I put this place on a level with several first rate restaurants in Manhattan and Washington D.C.
