Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Highland Park

As always, the food was exceptional! This time my favorite was dessert, the tiramisu came in a soda fountain milk shake glass! It was brilliant!

The food is always great. Well prepared and professionally presented. Our server, Isabelle, was excellent. She knew the menu and was able to explain the ingredients in the dishes to us. She made recommendations when asked and her suggestions were on target. We always enjoy our meals at this restaurant. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Great place for a holiday meal.

Had a great experience with my 3 boys on Thanksgiving... it was vwry busy and the atmosphere was joyous ... we were set for a 4:30 reservation and weatwd immediately... Server was a great guy and there right away asking about drinks and the bread rolls were brought...and water filled and drinks delivered...great start. I was able to order some special food for my 4 yr old off the regular menu and it arrived fast. The set menu was executed one course aftwr anothwr and all tastwd great...we loved the butternut squash soup... best I ever had. The whitefish was great and the Turkey was a huge portion... the kids loved their fruit juice drinks and Sprechers Root Beer was a great surprise...the desert was soooo good. Overall it was great food...fantastic service and a perfect Thanksgiving

Food and service always great here. Except on this night the waitress was a little rushed and unfocused. She forgot to put the order in for one of our pizzas. Then blamed it on us saying we told her we only wanted one. Not what happed at all. We initially ordered 3 pizzas and the. She said they have gluten free why don’t you do two instead so we agreed. She only put the gluten free one in to make and we never received the regular cheese.

The drinks and food are consistently awesome. The food is high quality and a real taste of Eastern European food. The service has always been great. We travel from Wisconsin to here often, a must try if you’re anywhere close to.
