- MMariSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined todayI'd long wanted to dine at Musso & Frank Grill and finally had my chance tonight. It's an L.A. classic that's turned out elegant comfort food and delectable martinis for 105 years. My husband and I were not disappointed: the restaurant's storied history, ambience, food, and service all combined to make a memorable dining experience. We started with cocktails (a St. George Terroir martini for me, a Fern Dell for him), the baked escargot, and the wedge salad — all delicious (I especially enjoyed the house-made bleu cheese dressing that came with the salad). For our mains, my husband ordered the Saturday special: Braised Short Ribs of Beef with vegetables (diced carrots — too many, he thought — and peas) and mashed potatoes. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful! I had the NY Strip, cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly prepared. We shared the baby broccolini, which was grilled and had a wonderful char. Our waiter Leonardo brought us a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a candle, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Service was thoughtful, courteous, and efficient. We had a delightful experience and look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Musso & Frank!More infoMusso & Frank GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Hollywood•4.8
- GDGraceDLas Vegas •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoNice art deco resto with fabulous food. The ribeye is juicy and yes lots of marbling but that’s what this cut is for those who say too much fat!! Love it and the chartucherie is yum with that bread!!More infoGwenPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Hollywood•4.6
- TTracyLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoMeat was overcooked on half of its side. Didn’t bother to let the server know as we were celebrating a happy event and didn’t want to cause grief or commotion. It was quite obvious when they served it…probably why I was given a thicker cut.More infoLawry's The Prime Rib - Beverly HillsPrice: Expensive• Prime Rib• Beverly Hills•4.6
- DDavidVIPLos Angeles •21 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoNew Years Day and we wanted some place that we knew would be fantastic, so where else but Gjelina? It was busy but the hosts and servers were unfailingly polite. We ordered 6 things from the menu. My wife's vegan so she had the vegetable sandwich (she had to fight me for it, it was so good). Brussel sprouts, grilled fennel, and the frites were all great. My son and I split the anchovy and burrata toast - a first for me - and it's my new favorite. Finished with the excellent pomodoro pizza - no cheese and none needed, because the jammy tomato confit is the star of the dish. I love this place. It never lets me down. Happy 2025!More infoGjelinaPrice: Expensive• American• Venice•4.7
