Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Greeted warmly loved that we were seated in the main dining hall. I loved that I was able to people watch! Many guests came for a buffet and were disappointed! But the atmosphere and Indias smile were so engaging that she made up for the lack of buffet

The Winter Salad has a perfect balancr of flavors and textures. Highly recommend. The Ricotta Cavelltrlli also had just the balance of lightness and heaviness, richness and savory vegetables. Husband had perfectly cooked strip steak.

Fantastic drinks and cocktails. Love the atmosphere on the bar side. The food is usually amazing - fried pickles were less crunchy than usual and the chicken sandwich was good- but not as outstanding as usual. Overall love the place. Hoping it was just an off day.

My wife loved her scallops. The salmon was very creative and delicious. Potato soup was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly. They made sure we had time to get to our show. Would definitely recommend this establishment 👍👍
