Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Old Greenwich

Only reason 4 stars on food due to ordered burger med-well and got it med-rare. If I send it back, what does my guest do w/his salmon? That one issue aside, it is a top-shelf experience. and would definitely return.

Food was very good and the staff is also very professional. It was a busy Tuesday night and staff worked hard to address all our needs. Penne all vodka was excellent as was the swordfish preparations. Overall I thought it was well done . .

L'Escale is the nicest restaurants in Greenwich, period. Ambiance, food, service, location and lower noise level than in other restaurants make it a perfect place to eat out.

I’ve been to Valbella many, many times and often for a holiday. This Christmas Eve was very unusual in my experience. Our table wasn’t ready when we came in. The bar and entranceway were packed and I thought we’d never be seated. We did wait 15 minutes but apologies all around. There must have been a problem because I’ve never experienced this. Once we sat down at the best table (in front of the fireplace), all went well. The waiter was fantastic: he didn’t rush us, had a sense of humor and acted like we were his only table. Everyone enjoyed their meals. A lovely way to spend Christmas Eve.
