This was my first time at Mr A’s and giving full accolades. The service was as good as it gets. Rory is a veteran server with an extensive knowledge of wine, food and decorum. The whole staff did a wonder job as well. Liked the signature Old Fashion and the wine that Rory recommended. We had oysters, caviar and the lobster fritters to start. The baguette was warm and a great complement to the starters. The entrees were all loved. I had the rack of lamb that was perfectly cooked medium rare with an amazing white bean provencal. Met a friend. The waiter sensed we had a lot of catching up to do. He wasn't one bit pushy and quite courteous. I believe his name is Martin. Great food and service.

Simply put, one of the best meals I have had the privilege of enjoying! Delightful server, Calvin, was very in tune with the timing of our meal and our needs. The fixed menu was perfect for Christmas Eve, as it kept the meal flowing and decision-making to a minimum. Every course was delectable from the scallop crudo, the creamed mushrooms, and the sea bass, to the date cake with walnut ice cream! Mezcal hibiscus cocktail was creative and tasty, as well! I will definitely be back!

This place has been a gem for the better part of 3 decades. Chef's have come and gone but it stays consistently great. Great food, outstanding service and the best wine list to value that you can find in the whole city. We had not been in a while and during dinner we had to ask ourselves why. Try it, you'll love it.
