- MMikeZambia •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIn short, great place and would definitely recommend and come back.... My wife & I (and some friends) are from NC and came to Vegas for a 5 day conference/mini vacation stayed at the South Point Casino. I found Bootleggers recommended on social media and checked it out. Flew in Thursday afternoon and had reservations at 5:30PM for 4 people. We arrived at 5:00, were seated (not many other tables occupied) and for the next 2 hours thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waiter Alfredo was attentive and informative as to the vast amount of selections, recommendations and options. What I was most impressed about was how the staff worked as a team - silent and effective. Water filled, used plates removed, moved at a fast pace, everyone helped each other to get the job done. The food came out of the kitchen by another "team" and based upon the notes they had, they knew where every plate was supposed to go... no yelling out "who had the spaghetti.....?" Just a well trained team, a very pleasant experience, the way a quality restaurant should be run. By the time we were done and left, the entire restaurant was full and people were waiting for tables (on a Thursday night). Most of the patrons were locals and this is truly a gem of Vegas. Thanks Bootleggers for a memorable dinner!!!!!More infoBootlegger BistroPrice: Moderate• Italian• South Las Vegas•4.9

- JjoannaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •125 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGot possessed by a craving for the octopus dish I had seen another order on my last visit, so booked dinner. Sat at the bar per usual and tried all new menu items to me. Drink- •How 'bout Them Apples ($17): Fresh-from-the tree sour apple, sharp and earthy. Wonderfully evocative creation from Guillermo (Tito). •Kaiju Amiga ($15): Very balanced between nutty sweetness and tang. •Clearly ($16): Like being on a breezy Caribbean beach, sunny, salty, citrusy. •Desparada "Saturn Return" 2022 Red Blend ($20): Very good pour. Food- Foie Gras ($25): Several-forkfuls portion of the rich fatty organ, accompanied by a thin eggroll spear. Very nutty, sweet, and crisp. Spanish Octopus ($24): About 10 octopus chunks, nicely charred outside the tender meat. Plentiful firm risotto grains, al dente and mildly salty (squid ink). Listed with a fire symbol on the menu; accurate. Chili quite prominent, asked for some bread ($2) to absorb and deaden some of the heat. Spiced and spicy. Value: Most excellent for the alcohol. Undecided about the food; liked what I had, still feeling the heat. Atmosphere: Surprisingly quiet at first, but noise level rose to its usual loud magnitude as the customers poured in. Service: Exceptional and attentive!More infoSparrow + WolfPrice: Expensive• American• Chinatown•4.7
