For appetizers, we recommend the Mushroom Neptune, for a main we had the Lobster Tail Dinner, and we had a medium well Blue Cheese Filet (bacon wrapped) with a side of fries. For a drink, the No-Paloma grapefruit mocktail was a perfect blend of sweet and sour but not too strong. The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Iris was our server this time and she is an absolute delight! We had a pleasure of meeting the ,executive chef, Steve during our dinner on February 13th. Now we can't wait to see him again :) what a warm hearted, humble guy and a super chef! Right from the start, as we were waiting for our table, the host came up to us to acknowledge that I had requested a quiet booth in my OpenTable reservation; he arranged for a better booth than we would've had originally - so this was a fabulous start to a great evening at The Keg. Our server, Chris, was GREAT. He said right away that it was very busy and apologized for any delay, but most importantly, he was very quick to bring us a bunch of paper cocktail napkins that I asked for right away - it's the little things like that that can really make a difference. Our steaks were perfect and, again, Chris quickly responded to my request for extra whiskey peppercorn sauce and horseradish. We were celebrating a birthday plus Valentine's Day so Chris brought a large portion of Billy Miner Pie, on the house(!) Everything was really sweet the whole way through and we enjoyed the experience thoroughly. Only note was when it came time to get our coats, the host was gone so I asked a woman in the office/coat room and she seemed a bit inconvenienced by my request to receive our coats back.
