She did read my preference for a table by a fireplace but I was not sure if my business date would show up last minute (and he didn’t.) George was bartender & served me and offered me the Sunday Social Happy Hour which I was happy to order 2 items from the special menu and he made me a delicious hot Irish Coffee as well as the food was great. Being an owner of several hospitality restaurants in my life, I appreciated great service and food. From Bartender/Server, George to Hostess, Lilly you have an excellent team who truly cares about their customer. I gave you a lower score on sound ambiance because of a couple arguing loudly behind me that the few others around me couldn’t help notice that took away from the experience. It’s not your fault but they could have too many drinks by then and didn’t realize how long they were becoming which was a bit of annoyance that I didn’t want to listen to. My group had the best time there this past Friday when Ross was singing. I can't remember our server's name but she was wonderful. I tried the eggplant grilled cheese and it was very good. My friends loved the ribs and the fried chicken. The Malibu rum bread pudding was outstanding. Martha is amazing there! The atmosphere was lively and people were dancing.
