Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history.     We brought my brother and sister-in-law here for the first time on 2/15/25. Our server Merrick (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was great! Phenomenal dinner, food came out quickly and was delicious. The guys got whole chickens and my sister in law got the chicken sandwich. We ordered fries, spoon bread, succotash, horseradish mashed potatoes, shrimps and grit and macaroni and cheese. We had a lot left over but they wanted to try everything. Last night, the shrimps and grits stole the show though, 10/10! Our only issue, I hate to mention it because we had such a wonderful time but since I am deaf in one ear I feel it may be helpful to someone else; we were seated under a speaker and the music was so loud. So if you’re going and you have hearing issues, maybe ask not to be seated close to where their speakers are. Highly recommend if you love quick, efficient service and pipin hot, yummy food!

    Took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day and our waiter ham, yes that’s his name ham, was polite funny and a overall great person, food was incredibly good , best steak fajita tacos I’ve had and we will definitely coming back

    Restaurant was busier than I have ever seen it. But the crowd on Valentine's Day was to be expected. Even though the restaurant was completely full, the servers did an excellent job to keep all customers satisfied. And our food arrived hot and prepared as expected. No complaints at all. We dined with another couple and they were just as satisifed with the experience as we were. Kudos to Fahri and the staff of Cafe Mediterranean for providing a great dining experience for Valentine's Day.

    We did an early Valentines date night here and had amazing service and food! You know going into a Jeff Ruby experience that the prices will be high so expectations match that. The food was good, similar to the other locations and so nothing stood out to me as unique. My only dislike was the bar area. Not the fact that it was crowded just the overall setup made it incredibly difficult for anyone to hang out and grab a drink while guests were waiting for tables. The hallway being crowded made it difficult for wait staff to get through so I felt bad for them. But everyone from waiter to valet was kind, attentive and conversational. Really appreciate that!!

    We are so glad we discovered this absolute Gem in Cincinnati. The food was amazing, the wine list impressive and the best part - the prices are the best value I have seen in a first class restaurant in a long time! The food and wine are priced well below the market trends I have found in other restaurants if this caliber. To top it off, our Server Morgan was incredible! We also had the pleasure of meeting Dan, our host who was extremely gracious. Our only regret was not finding this restaurant sooner. We will be back - and often!
