Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Englewood

The food was spectacular, the chef is amazing with excellent service👏

I don't know what took us so long to get here. We should have been here years ago. Our meal was special. We loved the tiger shrimp. The service was great. Everything about Baker & Wife was fabulous.

Both the food and the service were exceptional. I went early so the noise level was low. The ambiance was warm and friendly yet also sophisticated. I had salmon sashimi appetizer which melted in my mouth, tenderloin medallion perfectly cooked to medium rare, and the green beans were delightful (tender, but with a little crunch). The fingerling potatoes were tender but not overcooked. I wanted a cabernet sauvignon and the waiter's recommendation went very well with the meal. Even my coffee (black) was good.

Sublime weather had us dining outside. We were both adventurous so we tried something we hadn’t at this restaurant: the eggplant appetizer and the beef bourguignon. Both were superb! While I missed having the truffle risotto, the eggplant was hearty, and both portions large enough to make a lovely leftover lunch. We of course started with the escargot which is the best in town. Eat local and enjoy a really superb meal at Mademoiselle Paris.

Once again, we had one of the best meals in Sarasota. The service and food quality is always consistent. We’ve been going for years and there’s never been an “off” meal. We ordered the chicken skewer and pork chop (moist of course). We were still talking about it when we got up this morning. If you’re in the Sarasota area, don’t miss this one!!
