Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Merrick Park

We went on Valentine’s so it was busy. My husband loved his pork yuca and moros. I decided to have octopus that was an appetizer ans truffle mashed and both weren’t good. We’ve eaten here before and I’ve had the grouper but wasn’t as hungry and decided to change it up. Big mistake. The bread pudding had great flavor but over cooked. The service was awful because it was a full house waited over 10 min just to be served water at the table. We got our drinks after we finished our appetizer. I was honestly a bit disappointed. I’ve recommended to friends on the past not sure if I will again.

ALWAYS THE BEST, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. STEVE PUTS OUT QUALITY FOOD YOU CANNOT GET ANYWHERE ELSE. YES IT CAN GET A LITTLE LOUD, THE SERVERS CAN RUSH YOU OUT AFTER TWO HOURS, AND IT IS A LITTLE EXPENSIVE. BUT REMEMBER ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY, IT’S ABOUT THE FOOD STUPID, IT’S ABOUT THE FOOD!

This is an absolute gem in Coral gables. Worth the drive from anywhere you are in Miami. Our experience was incredible. The food was on another level.. We expected great food but this was above our expectations. You can taste the time and effort that everyone has put in to the food. They are dead set on making it right and I believe they've achieved that mark.

The husband and wife team were amazing. They put so much care into preparing and serving the meal. Everything was delicious ! We enjoyed the whole experience. I recommend this restaurant. Make sure you reserve a table. It’s a small restaurant now but I’m sure they will need more tables very soon!!

Fantastic breakfast food & cappuccino! High-quality breads for toast, extra details like micro greens on the avocado toast & caring staff. The space is well designed with nice contemporary art. Definitely recommend for breakfast.
