Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Normandy Beach

This was our first time at Jasper Stone and we had high expectations. Our server, Joe, was great - very knowledgeable and attentive. We absolutely loved out appetizer, tartare trio, and we're looking forward to our entrees. There was a bit of a snafu with getting them, we waited a very long time, so muchnso that I mentioned it to Joe and he agreed and would check on it for us. It wasn't what I thought was busy enough for a wait like that but I don't jnow what was going on in the kitchen. Our dinners came out and unfortunately my husband's was extremely undercooked and mine was a bit over. Joe had the owner Kim come speak with us and he made it right immediately. We appreciated that and the dinner was very good! My husband ordered the crispy potatoes as his side and I liked them better than my side of creamed spinach. I will say the creamed spinach was good but I happen to be overly critical of creamed apinach and felt the parmesan cheese was too heavy handed. Kim insisted that dessert was on him, which we said was not necessary, and we got the bananas foster bread pudding and pistachio cake. We also both got cappuccino, and we both said it was the best we have ever had. We loved the whimsical rock candy stick that came in it - so cute and nostalgic. The desserts though - they were both delectable and incredibly delicious! They are made in house and you can absolutely tell! All in all we veryuch enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!

We've been to this restaurant many times and each time it was excellent. The food is fresh and hot. Food seemed to come right out of the oven. Service was great; we'll be back.

Great restaurant when in the area or for a celebration or special night out. The sushi is very fresh. Crab cake was melt in your mouth but lacked a bit of acid. The Chicken parma was enjoyable as well. Had a long wait between appetizer and entrée. Our server wasn't as attentive as others in the past and although we mentioned our sons birthday it was not acknowledged.

As usual I very much enjoyed my meal. Due to having Celiac disease I can only eat the gluten free penne which you cook perfectly with your great sauses. It would be soooo great if you got GF seasoned bread crumbs so I could order your great chicken parm.-baked clams-stuffed mushrooms It would also be great if you had an option to get GF bread at the beginning of the meal with the cocktails ...toasted w/butter,,, with your homade eggplant tompinade. I know there might be a cost for it, but if you keep it reasonable restricted eaters like myself would not complain

This was my first time at Esquina Latina. Great menu. I ordered two appetizers instead of an entree. The food was outstanding. My only complaint is that my food came out long before my party was served their dinner even though I specified that the two appetizers were my dinner. Also the wait staff kept trying to clear my plates while I was still eating. Definitely attentive but a bit overzealous. I will definitely go back.
