Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Selden

My friend and I meet here twice a year to celebrate our birthdays as it's equidistant from our homes west and east of there. The clam chowder with mushrooms was delicious, as was the Parisian salad - both of which I ordered. My friend ordered the vegetable soup terrine and a hamburger with fries. The only complaint was the burger was not medium rare as she had ordered it, but medium. She only ate 1/2 of it. The french fries here are out of this world delicious. We only enjoyed coffee as our dessert, which was very good. Service was excellent, just enough attention paid to us, and food arrived quickly.

Very attentive service, great cocktails, meals, and desserts. Will absolutely return again on another special occasion. Loved it.

Overall, our experience was great. The food Was good it complimented the wine. Total meal was satisfactory. Service was very good and the noise level was adequate. Was able to have a conversation with my wife.

The lunch menu is outstanding! There were so many items that I would have loved to order. I had the shrimp with arborio rice, chick peas, and greens…. Scrumptious!!! Looking forward to returning and trying other dishes!

On Thursday night they have wonderful live music. The food is terrific. The moscato on the wine list is unbelievably delicious. The tuna appetizer is a perfect opening. It sits on a bed of fresh vegetables.The fries that accompanied the filet mignon are addictive. The owner is so amicable and attentive and warmly welcoming. We spilt an appetizer of tulip flowers made even more scrumptious by the accompanying dip. Branzinos is a great find.
