Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in St. Peters

We love Anthony’s so I knew this is where I wanted to go for my birthday. There was a slight mix up with our reservation because Anthony’s was also hosting a private party upstairs, so we had to wait a bit but the owner was so sweet and worked on getting us seated as quickly as possible. Our favorite thing to order is the Burrata- it is absolutely wonderful. It’s fresh, a nice mix of flavors, and a really large portion. My husband got chicken carbonara and I got the special pasta- Tuscana pasta with chicken. Again- wonderful. Our server, Jackie, was amazing and all of the staff- bus boys, food runners, hostesses etc. are constantly working hard to make sure everyone is attended to. The owners are very kind, welcoming and attentive to their customers. Despite having to wait, it was totally worth it and will be back many times!

Staff was attentive and on top of things. Food was excellent. Gumbo tasty and deconstructed chicken pot pie delicious. Would go again.

11.21.24 Our server was the best part of our visit to Founding Farmers! Her name was Casey D. and she just made us feel so great for being there, at the right time! There were so many people and we thought it might not be the right time but she said please don’t worry. All these people have been served, or their order has already been taken, so we are ready for you! They served us great food and really quickly and we were able to see our movie on time, and we were so grateful! We really just wanted a super green healthy large salad to split and that was the $18.50 all good green salad! Has so much in it! And then my friend wanted to have half margarita pizza and half plain tomato pie and— that’s exactly what the kitchen did! It was perfect, because we had the best of both worlds! That pizza was only 17.99 and it was a thick Sicilian style! But also crispy corners! My friend absolutely loved it! Then we had a great memory of the pan fried potato pierogies, —but it now comes with a spicy dipping sauce, that’s a little bit sweet, and very hot—but I think next time we would get it, not pan fried, but just steamed, with some butter, salt, or sour cream. We forgot to ask… but the pierogies are just 4 for $9.99… never realized that they are $2.50, per each! We got the potato ones… Such a good food memory! This pre-movie snack was just perfect, and it did not break the bank! Also, on the way out as we thanked them, we found the most delicious box of caramel cookie chocolate! Next time we should try the chocolate mints… Looking forward to coming here again! I also remember the purple and black kale salad being really good and we were thinking about it But we were full with all the food that we ate… It was perfect timing for the movie ! Excellent as always! This is our favorite place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal made with fresh, local ingredients. Never disappoints! The fall menu is off the charts good!
