Artisan Bistro is a modern and inviting dining room dressed in rich dark and light woods with elegant European design elements. Accents of black, off-white, cognac, blues and warm grays echo a classic bistro look and feel. Crafted wood wainscoting throughout the room and soft ambient lighting from above highlight the white-washed, wood floors to further enhance the bistro-like setting. Johnnie's is a collection of memories for all. Personally autographed pictures and genuine memorabilia of your favorite movie stars, politicians, athletes and musicians. Casual, upscale dining in a great location. Set on the side of the "Old West End" just blocks away from North Station, the TD Bank North Garden, historic Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. The decor consists of a combination of light and dark woods, copper, brass and luxurious leather with huge floor to ceiling windows that you must see to appreciate. The menu consists of contemporary American classics with various, multi-ethnic influences. We open at 4pm every Tuesday through Saturday for dinner,as well as our famous Reggae brunch from 11am to 3pm on Sundays. The hot chocolate and the pastries were delicious! The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The Christmas decorations, fireplace and ambience completed the scene. My wife loved it! You may need to reserve a few days in advance. If you have a sweet tooth and want to take someone special, they will love it.

The staff was great. The environment was also enjoyable. My friend and I had a very nice evening and appreciate the service we received. The staff was fantastic. All the way from the valet parking attendant to the wait staff could not have been nicer. Sidenote, the table next to us couldn’t have been more friendly and interactive. In short, it’s a place I will definitely go back to.

West Side Johnnies is a hidden jewel near the Boston Garden. Great dinner, at a low price. Great service. No wait, even within an hour before the World Champion Celtics tipped off against the LA Clippers.

We came for dinner and they had live music. The staff was so wonderful! We were running late from traffic and the hostess was so kind to us and assured me they’d hold our reservation. The food and drinks were quick and delicious. We’ll be back thank you!
