Best Live Music Restaurants in Rancho Mirage

This was our first time at this restaurant as we were visiting from Minnesota. We had an excellent experience at Wildest - from booking on line (a glitch with the on line booking - I booked a specific time, and was contacted by Michael at the restaurant that the time I chose was a actually booked already and offered an earlier time which we confirmed worked for us) to our wonderful server Paige, and the excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers of grilled artichoke and ricotta stuffed squash blossoms, along with our main entrees of grass fed lamb chops and seared duck breast, both were perfectly cooked with very tasty accompaniments and sauces! The Calirosa hibiscus margarita was probably the best margarita I’ve ever had! Our server Paige, was delightful! She was very attentive and took great care of us, as well as other guests around us. The additional staff/servers were also very pleasant 😊 We will definitely visit the Wildest again on our next visit to Palm Desert!

Always a great dining experience. Instead of eating at the bar, we opted for a table for 2 on V-day. I never realized how far back the restaurant went, so much room! The salmon with risotto is delicious. And the live music was a lot of fun. We'll be back soon. - LeeAnn

Our favorite dining experience in Rancho Mirage/ Palm Desert area - always - with great friends. Ambience is always warm and welcome, service is thoughtful, timely and impeccable, the food is beautifully presented and even better and the most delicious to devour. Desserts - in particular - we love your soufflés! Also nice is the music and the saxophone player. Topped off by getting to meet third-generation owner, Madeleine. What a super star who has kept Wally’s excellent dining experience going. We very much enjoyed Madeleine taking the time to come introduce herself and spend time with us — sharing even more family history. Thank you! The Bucks

Castelli’s is our favorite Italian restaurant. We have bring family and friends here for more than 30 years. The service staff is quick, professional and knowledgeable. My favorite is their veal dishes since that is a dish I do not usually prepare. My husband loved the chicken Parmesan because here we can order it not breaded. The food is always hot and delicious. Can’t say enough about the pasta dishes and always hot bread at the table. I love the nights they have live music at the bar. They offer valet service too. Highly recommend you try them.

Food was delicious. I had the Sand Dabs and the lemon sauce was fabulous. Friend had my other go to, Chicken Piccata, and loved it.
