Best Live Music Restaurants in River Oaks

Had dinner here with my wife and friends. This is an outstanding restaurant. The service was exceptional, the food was very well prepared and the drink/spirits options were plentiful. The ambiance could be a bit more ‘intimate,’ but the noise levels were acceptable and distance between seating areas was reasonable. I felt the pricing was just very slightly high, but, overall a very good experience which I would recommend.

My first experience was overall AMAZING! Can’t remember our servers name, but she was outstanding as well! We came for valentines & had the best night ever. Will be back! 10/10!!!

I went here for galentines & it was absolutely MARVELOUS! You have to valet or park on the street, but street parking was surprisingly easy to find. The door was always opened for us & the guy helped my friends get group pics, which was super kind. The ambient lighting, the live music that transitioned into a DJ later on that night, the amazing bartender (ask for Kelyn, she’s awesome), our super sweet bartender (Zickee? I know I’m mispelling his name, but he was so attentive & kind), & the FOOD. The burger genuinely was the best burger I’ve ever eaten (if you don’t like too much butter, maybe avoid this), the deviled eggs had CAVIAR on it & tasted so good… I wanted to fight my two other friends for the last egg hehe. The lambchop was great, but if you’re HUNGRY, it’s only that on top of a polenta (kind of a cheesy, hashbrown but I think it’s cornmeal not potatoes), so I’d advise getting a side or two with that. The pasta looked amazing, & it genuinely wasn’t as expensive as it may feel. We split everything evenly & with a large tip it was still a decent price! And they gave us chocolate covered strawberries topped with real gold flakes at the end. Perfect restaurant, my absolute favourite in Houston now. Still dreaming of the burger!

Our waiter Terrod was very attentive! He heard my husband mention us being married for almost 25 years when he was blessing the food and Terrod added that special message to our dessert. I just thought that was so thoughtful! Now the managers or host not sure who he was, was terrible! Both walked right past us and stopped to ask how the people in back of us were enjoying their food. The guy manager never said a word to us and we were in the very first table. He just seemed off.

Amazing! Food was fantastic. We had wonderful service and hospitality. They truly made this experience memorable. Want to give recognition to our servers sofiane and JD, perfect examples of amazing service. Very attentive, professional, and most importantly, fun!
